More than the basics

The Arc Jacksonville tries to provide more than the basic daily services. Community partners make possible programs that further enrich, not merely sustain, the lives of people with an intellectual and/or developmental disability.

The Arc Jacksonville’s Valentine’s Ball

The Valentine’s Ball is a special dance night for people in the intellectually and developmentally disabled community to come together and enjoy a Valentine’s Day celebration.

Club Arc

Club Arc is a laid-back, easy going, fun, and relaxing nightlife adventure that is open to all adults over the age of 18 who have a disability. Club Arc is a place to meet new friends, listen to music, dance, watch television, eat, sing, participate in games, use the Internet café, and play pool or just chill! And once a month there will be an extra-special event!

The Club is Open 6:00pm—9:00pm every Friday night, at our Westside center!

The Arc Jacksonville’s Group Home Outings

The group home residents are provided everything they need to succeed in daily life, but we all know that everyone likes a special outing or even a vacation! Sponsor a bowling night, a day trip to The Jacksonville Zoo, or even a day trip to an Orlando Amusement Park.

Enhance Day Programs

Enhance the experience of our day program participants by sponsoring additional classes, performances, and presentations at an Arc facility. Examples are have a cooking class, musical performance, drama lessons, and more!
