Funding For Services

The majority of people receiving services at The Arc Jacksonville are enrolled in the Home and Community-Based Medicaid Waiver Program, operated by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). This program pays for the services described here. To be eligible for this funding, a person must have an intellectual and developmental disability diagnosed before age eighteen and need assistance in learning skills related to self care, communication, mobility, decision-making and living independently. For information about the program, or for an enrollment application, please call the APD office at (904) 992-2440. The Arc Jacksonville also accepts private payment for some services.
