The Arc Program Eligibility Guidelines…
The majority of people receiving services at The Arc Jacksonville are enrolled in the Home and Community-Based Medicaid Waiver Program, operated by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) State of Florida. Medicaid Waiver pays for most services described within the website. To be eligible for this funding, a person must have an intellectual and/or developmental disability diagnosed before age eighteen and need assistance in skills within at least two of the following areas: self care, communication, mobility, decision-making or living independently. The Arc Jacksonville also accepts Florida McKay scholarships, Vocational Rehabilitation funds, Medicaid and private payment for some services. For more information, please call our main office at 904.355.0155. We’ll be glad to refer you to the most appropriate service contact person.
