“We have long admired the artwork created by The Arc clients. When we moved our company to a new building, we knew that we wanted to have a painting from the program as a feature. We approached The Arc about having paintings done specifically for us, using a range of colors that we specified. Although this had not been done before, Bridget Hall and Diane Halverson embraced the idea of having us commission the paintings. And the clients themselves were very excited when we explained our idea. The process was very easy, and the resulting paintings are more than we had hoped. We originally planned to buy two or three paintings, but ended up choosing five. The paintings are strong and vibrant on their own; knowing the story behind the artists makes them even more appreciated.”
